From a young age, Burke Daniel has always had a strong fascination with art and beauty. Growing up in Rexburg Idaho, he would take trips to museums and art galleries, intrigued by the brush strokes and the uses of color in many different mediums. He furthered his interest by studying art in college. However, it wasn't until he moved to New York to work as a model that Burke found his true calling in life – to help others see the beauty in themselves, both inside and out. During his modeling career he watched firsthand as make-up and hair transformed young, self conscious models into powerful, beautiful icons and he made a decision. He moved to Utah to acquire his cosmetology license in 1998.
"What has always attracted me to make-up is the whole transformation,” says Burke. “A couple of brush strokes on the face and you can totally change someone, not only on the exterior, but also the interior.” Today he travels the world working on fashion shows, beauty campaigns, and doing print work.
One of Burke’s main ambitions is to teach others and share his knowledge with them. To help people see beauty in a new light, to share with them creative techniques and how to see balance, and to continually inspire creativity.
